I became a very successful million dollar producer in 9 months simply because I always turned on my LeadPod "money making machine" (the lead transfer system) every morning starting at 9 AM. With my lead transfer system turned to ON, I immediately started making callbacks on prospects that I had not previously closed but who were serious prospects for insurance (I don’t waste time with pretenders anymore). One of the beautiful features of LeadPod is that there is a lead management system incorporated into the system. In other words, every LIVE lead I received and did not sell, I simply programmed the lead to send me a popup reminder for a callback at the appropriate time (assuming it was a serious buyer). It’s awesome; it’s like having my own full-time secretary on staff. So as I waited for new LIVE calls from LeadPod, the reminder would appear on my screen throughout the day. It reminded me of prospects I talked to yesterday that needed a callback and even those I talked to 3 months ago. The important point is to ALWAYS LEAVE THE LEADPOD SYSTEM "ON" as you try to contact your callbacks. When a LIVE transfer came in, I took the call and obviously made my presentation and ceased my callback actions temporarily. Once the presentation was over, I again turned ON my "money making machine" and began my callback function (the LeadPod system is turned off automatically when a transfer comes in to prevent getting two transfers, one after the other, and requires the agent to click the system back ON once the agent has finished the presentation). However, when I reached a callback (meaning a live prospect NOT an answering machine) I would then turn off the transfer system. Once again when the follow-up call was completed, I would turn ON the transfer system and continued this same process throughout the day. That is step one for me.

Step two is as follows. Once I finished my daily sales callbacks which many times would not be completed until late afternoon because I would have made many new presentations from LIVE transfers that day, I then began my second round of calls which I call Underwriting (UW) follow-ups. Again with the transfer system set to ON I called my clients that I still needed an UW requirement from. When I reached my live client on the phone regarding the UW need, I simply turned the LeadPod system to OFF. Once my call was completed, I turned the LeadPod system back ON and once again began calling the rest of my clients regarding UW requirements as I waited for more new LIVE prospects to call me.

I found out that by using this systematic approach I was no longer wasting time and in fact my day became very efficient by minimizing lost sales (because my LeadPod system was always turned ON, I received many more transfers/presentations then if I turned it off during callback mode). This method also allowed me to always be caught up with my follow-ups. Many times I worked right through to 8:00 pm since there is always a strong flow of transferred leads available between the hours of 4 pm to 8:00 pm. The reason for this is that many prospects are just not available during daytime hours. Furthermore, many prospects that are reached during the day by the live operators are told to call back after 4 pm. A nice feature of LeadPod’s interface is that it displays on the "HOME" page under "Pipeline Visibility" – "Callbacks". When you click on "Callbacks" it shows you the times YOUR prospects are available to discuss insurance with you. IF you’re logged in at those times, LeadPod will follow up with your prospect and transfer the lead to you. As a result 4 pm to 8:00 pm has always been an extremely lucrative time.

You may ask what was my result for following this Live Transfer approach? My income went through the roof. My personal "mint’ was churning out thousands of dollars weekly because my entire day was efficient both in receiving LIVE calls and working my callbacks. I averaged 12 presentations a day and sold 1 out of 3. One day I made 18 presentations with awesome results, but that’s a story for another day. Thanks for listening and happy selling!
